A Maxim Energy bar is low-fat and contains 70% carbohydrates (fast and slow) and additional minerals and proteins to support the transport of carbohydrates (= energy) to the muscles. Proteins also contribute to the maintenance of muscle mass. It is important to raise the level of carbohydrates beforehand, so you only have to replenish during the match or training. Carbohydrates are the main building materials. Take an energy bar 30-45 minutes before the match or training to boost your energy supply to 100%. Carbohydrate supply in your muscles is limited. A 55 gram bar delivers 40 carbs and provides energy for 45 minutes.
Use during sports:
During exercise, energy bars are easy to eat, they are not sticky and well digestible. The combination of different types of carbohydrates and proteins ensures a constant energy supply.

* Carbohydrates contribute to the restoration of normal muscle function (contraction) after very intensive and / or prolonged exercise that has led to muscle fatigue and depletion of the glycogen stores in skeletal muscle. The beneficial effect is obtained with a total intake of 4 grams of carbohydrates per kilogram of body weight in doses, the first of which within 4 hours and the last no later than 6 hours after exercise. Maxim Energy Bars contain 36 to 40 grams of carbohydrates per bar.
