Maxim Carbo Loader is 100% natural and has a neutral taste. It contains 95% maltodextrin (and very little sugar). Maltodextrin is a fantastic energy source and is gentle on your stomach. Moreover, maltodextrin is not sweet and does not give an extreme insulin peak, that way your blood levels remain stable for longer.
Use Maxim Carbo Loader 2-3 days prior to competition. Eat normal portions (pasta, rice, potatoes, bread, legumes) and supplement with 1 or 2 scoops of Maxim Carbo Loader. You can simply add this to pasta (sauce), for example, or to your cold or hot drink.
The best effect is to be achieved if you a take Carbo Loader after training. The training sessions may no longer be exhaustive during that period. On the day of competition use Carbo Loader 3 hours before the start, 2-3 scoops in a 500ml bottle. Drink slowly in 15-20 minutes. Take a Maxim Energy Bar and 250ml Maxim Sports Drink half an hour before the start.
Maximum carbohydrate level
Your body can process a maximum of 80-90 grams of carbohydrates per hour. This is your maximum carbohydrate level. Experience shows that eating solid food during vigorous exercise is difficult. With Carbo Loader it is easy to increase the carbohydrates in your favorite (sports) drink and switch to liquid food that is easily and quickly absorbed into your body. This gives you an ideal alternative to a bar, banana or bread and it is also a great alternative to the very sweet energy gels.
During a competition or training you can use Carbo Loader to keep your carbohydrate level up.
